Meredith McDaniel, MA, LCMHC

Meredith McDaniel, MA, LCMHC is the primary counselor & owner of M+H serving families, couples, women, teens, & children in the Lake Norman area. Her licensure information is: NC-8254. Member of ACA, AACC, & LPCANC. She also a local speaker/writer and is publishing her debut book with Revell, a division of Baker Books, to be released in January of 2020.

Meredith has vast experience working in a variety of settings with adolescents over the past 15 years with Young Life & Inheritance of Hope. She currently counsels in her private practice, Milk + Honey Counseling. In addition, she has served at a local private school as a guidance counselor for K-12th grades. She has a passion to help young women in middle/high school, college, & beyond to discover who they are & live the full life they were intended to live. She strives to offer hope in somewhat dark places + help others taste of the land of milk+honey.

Ashley Port, Counseling Intern

Ashley is finishing her Master of Arts in Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Over the past 5 years, Ashley has served in several Christian ministries and churches as an event coordinator and executive assistant.
 
She has a heart for defending and helping the vulnerable, and one of her proudest accomplishments has been helping her church revamp the way it protects children and people with disabilities from all forms of abuse. This involved rewriting policies, conducting screening interviews with dozens of volunteers, and providing training for volunteers.
 
She has had the opportunity to lead and mentor many teenage and college women and is passionate about helping people find hope, healing, and purpose.
