Former counseling intern Matt Wiggins is back at Milk + Honey in a new role, Care + Community Curator, where he will oversee some administrative and communication aspects of the practice. While he won’t be seeing clients this time around, he is splitting his time with counseling roles at Silver Morning Counseling in Rock Hill, SC and The Rest Initiative (a nonprofit providing care for pastors, ministry leaders, and other organizations in the leadership space). Additionally he is providing professional coaching for pastors and ministry leaders through the Center for Career Development and Ministry.
Matt arrived in the counseling world after nearly twenty years of work in churches with middle and high school students. This led him to The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology where he earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology. He considers it a great honor to walk couples, teenagers, and adults through the most difficult chapters of their stories and holding hope that there is healing, shalom, and meaning on the other side.
